It's makes it a tad more challenging when they are not food motivated. What do mean by line scent tracking? Are you referring to something like AKC tracking (TD, TDX, VST, TDU)? String girth…..love my leather girths but my pony didn't feel the same way. He is very happy with a string girth.

I tried a Duett and I did like it but ending up getting a Courbette Vision for my very wide Connemara pony and LOVE it!! Granted that is a cross country saddle. I use a Albion dressage saddle on her…that I also LOVE….I was lucky and was able to find it used.

Stay with the boot you love!!! After weeks, (maybe months) of looking for a boot that I would love last spring/summer and finally founding them…..Ariat Volante, back zipper…..I am almost tempted to buy another pair just in case the company discontinues them.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I am going to be trying on some vests soon. I am very interested in the Airowear, I called and talked with one tack shop today that also said it was a very popular vest. (Thanks quinta!!). It was a bit of a shock to me to realize that I couldn't just get the air vest...

I did not realize the air vest was to used in combination with a standard body protector vest. More things to consider. And thanks for the note about making sure it's an approved vest.
