Cash economy?

I'm in the process of selling a horse trailer, it's an older model, but sound. I'm wondering if I should accept a personal check or ask for cash? It's not a big ticket item, but is several thousand dollars. Would you be willing to show up with the bills? Or is that an unfair request? It's been so lo...

I'm in the separating personal and professional relationship camp - and relative to personal, it would depend on the nature.

And does sign up = a check? The point being, if I've already "supported" them financially, it doesn't really matter whether I'm there holding my nose or not.

I do not mean to take away from this family's tragedy in any way, but is this feeding on some sort of primal fear? It's a rare occurrence. The family car and lack of proper restraint is much more likely to kill a child (or that child's parents, for that matter). http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/na...

It is my understanding that ~5 pounds is the horse's stomach capacity and you will be "spilling" undigested feed in to a horse's intestine if you overfeed. This is not good for gut bacteria equilibrium and can cause problems.
