Re: Health and fitness 2021
I just signed up with a personal trainer. I'm fit but I keep getting injured running/riding, so I probably need more dynamic muscle tone. Granted, none of my injurries are really running/riding-related ... more a doh moment where I'm sightseeing while running a rocky trail race, or swinging into the...

I think you and Lynx are in a great place to part from the training rides! What does the trainer think? I had zero choice when I pulled Maia out of training — my pro was just south of Collierville, TN, and I'm in Maryland. So when the pro thought it was time to send her back, I drove down to mom's w...

That’s obnoxious. I’ve got a standing appointment day and time, every 6 weeks. That’s been the standard with my farrier for the 15+ years he’s been doing my mares’ feet. The other farrier who comes to our barn has a standing appointment time too. I’m not looking forward to moving next year because I...

Great videos and photos Anne and Lips. You should definitely take Lynx to the clinic, Lips. How does he go after counter canter? I'm imaging it will be a rough, ugly counter canter ... but even a few strides in a shallow loop, may be enough to get him to straighten out. Ditto spiral in and out at the canter. You can do the later subtly, 1-2 steps in, straight, 1-2 steps out, during all can...
