Re: Little or Lot of Emotional Support Needed

And to think that I was freaking out on Sunday watching my 8-year old rock-climb 5.11 (no idea what that means, but she seemed to be really proud of it). She made it to the top, I didn't throw up and it only lasted a few minutes. Clearly you've raised a pretty amazing human being but I can't even be...

Nice mare! Looks like you'll have a ton of fun with her, happy riding!

I thought of you yesterday as I was pulling on the boots I bought from you to go try out a half lease on another redhead. The horse was lovely so maybe it's a redhead season around here :)

Re: Virtual shoppers, interested in another one?

I've had and ridden good geldings and I've had and ridden good mares. Because so much of my interaction with the horses in my life is on the ground, I prefer mares because they just seem more interested in people. They let you know where you stand, and if you find one you bond with (which can take t...

One more voice into the josette/bip/musical comedy chorus. The good ones go quickly.

Which makes it even more important to really know what you want. For example, IF you are considering an Iberian horse, make sure you actually get along with that particular type of temperament.

I love the palomino. In theory. If you feel like actually working hard and going places, she seems awesome. Depending on how you define "decent brain" I'm sure you can get what you want relatively easily in a baby if you look at the Spanish horses. Palomino is not common as dirt but accessible enough in those breeds. If I remember correctly, a horse that is a bit hot isn't an inherent problem fo...

Od thread, but I think the almost unanimous consensus on the old board was that Zojurushi is the go-to for bread machines. Works well for heavier, gluten-free breads as well but, of course, recipe matters.

Mine is somewhere in the closet. Haven't used it in ages.
