Canyon, I got them last week. All the black lines on the zebra print are.... silicone. I am afraid they will be too sticky! I wrote to them, and they said go ahead and ride in them - if I don't like it, I can return it.

I use galvanized garbage cans. I dump the feed into it. I pick it up and pour the last bit out when at the bottom.
Trainer has a defunct chest freezer. Her hubby divided it into three bins with wooden dividers.

My horse grinds when asked to piaffe. It is associated, we believe, with early training before former owner got him. It is much less now.... SO perhaps tension.

How are his ears? His eyes? they will clue you in as to whether it is pain or habit - as in "that's the spot!"
