I don't have any info about pine tar soap.

But, have you tried Eqyss Microtek shampoo? It really helped a friend's mare who would get a weird scurfy, itchy crud after she was worked and got sweaty.

I have been harvesting my bountiful crop of basil and making large batches of pesto. So pesto pizza on a cauliflower crust two nights ago, and pesto on sautéed summer squash last night.

Last night, I used my Instant Pot to hard boil a dozen (fresh from the store, so not truly fresh) eggs. I used the directions from Epicurious, and the eggs turned out perfectly and peel easily. I did add 1 minute to the time, to compensate for living at 4500 feet.

I love my Instant Pot 6 qt 7-in-1; we bought it almost 3 years ago during a Black Friday sale. We use it most often for artichokes. I've made several wonderful cheesecakes in it. I'm always impressed with how quiet it is, after using a stove-top, rocker pressure cooker for years!

What about a shoe that could do both, like Ariat Terrain? or Terrain H20? Can anyone weigh in who has experience with this brand?

I used to have riding sneakers with heels that were fine for getting off and doing short walking stints while trail riding, but cannot remember the brand.

Any chance you sew? I find polar fleece hats to be much warmer (and faster to make) than knitted hats. Lots of cute and colorful fabric available, and you only need 1/3 yard. For dressage, the USEF Rulebook (DR121) says - "The diameter of the snaffle mouthpiece must
be minimum 10 mm diameter at rings or cheeks of the mouthpiece (exception: for ponies, the diameter may be less than 10 mm)." I think calipers are used for measurement.
