I second that. Mine was found with a mammogram ten full years ago. Even knowing where it was, you could not feel it. Don't skip those mammograms.

I'm using the knee scooter thing at home, so I'm mostly weightless, and the boot and cane when I go out. So I'm already 50% better behaved. :lol: Anyone else ever hear of these screws breaking? How awful! I agree with everyone; the safety and well-being of your kids is your first and most important job. Period. This is a bad guy. It hasn't been just one, or even two infractions, but a list of bad and dangerous behavior. I'd have trouble being on the same block as the guy.

I found a tiny container of a clear liquid that I put in caps of pop bottles and old pill bottles. Those then got placed way in the back of cabinets and behind the refrigerator. In two days, no ants!

Aghhhhhh! Thank you all. No therapy yet, other than the doc telling me to flex my foot, especially my toes toward my shin. We'll see what he has to say Wednesday. Don't know, other than walking, what therapy might be fitting, since the ankle was only involved extemporaneously via the broken tib fib....

I've done both. When I mixed my own, I was using food-grade metal 55 gallon barrels. I just made sure to really empty them, and use a dry rag to wipe the grain dust out before mixing a new batch. Never had any problems in 30+ years of doing that.

NOTHING other than metal! Mice/rats/squirrels/rodents will chew through anything not metal. I used assorted metal cans and bins for years, now I use an old chest freezer. Love it because EVERYTHING is in one place i.e. extra dog and cat food, bird seed, assorted grains. Rodent proof.

And I know it's difficult, and the vet probably has suggested it, but "bed rest". No outside time off a leash, quiet time in the house, for six weeks.

I had a horse who developed heaves after a winter at a boarding facility with bad hay. Turned out an allergy to oaks exacerbated the situation, and moving him to an oak-free area really helped.

Nephew just told me on a flight back from Germany there was a VERY unhappy cat stowed somewhere that caterwauled the entire trip. We who own cats know the sound; mournful, guttural, drawn-out wail. He said you couldn't even enjoy the silence because you simply waited for the cat to start again.
