I'll try to give better explantation, maybe more details will help. There is an app for CPR events, to notify people when someone nearby needs CPR, so if they are trained, and choose to get involved, they can. The app also notifies on other fire department things, like car accidents, structure fires...

It might be, If the app is such that it chimes wants to remind you or you can choose to have it keep going off like an alarm clock. Do you know if it has those two different options?

I wish but no! May be a better analogy. You know how in most smart phones there is a date reminder option, so say if your riding lesson is tomorrow you can set it to alert you a day before or two hours before an hour before and so on. When the alert goes off, usually it chimes once and a little bubb...

The AAEP convention is this weekend in San Francisco so many of our regular vets may be out of town. Convention runs Saturday through Wednesday, Plan accordingly :)

When I purchased the full sibling to your new horse, I thought it quite sensible to bring Spooky home in the horse trailer. I texted my local vet a pic of Spooky in the trailer with the message “bringing home another rescue, can you come have a look this afternoon?”

Unfortunately most equine disciplines someone is using electricity for more than keeping horses off fences. Not just rodeo and racing, there some well known names in the FEI disciplines that do it too. When the stakes are high, everything gets dirty at the top I've found. Not saying everyone does it...

Well DONE Kammie! So glad all are well, retained placentas are quite common in draft mares and can be very problematic. Fingers crossed no further troubles from that. Kammie looks amazing, beautiful condition, tip of the hat to you :)

Some plants as they mature get a coating that protects them from herbicides, star thistle is one, if it's mature you have to wound it first. Smaller fresh growth is easier to kill. Cut it let it grow a few leaves then spray.

I've offered and sent 10% non refundable deposits on horses far away to give myself a day to think about it and set up vetting. Bought both so it worked out ok. They were rare to find horses, so I didn't want to chance someone else getting ahead of me.

Dilemma solved. I found two darling little stuffed Bulls, one long horn and one Hereford, and a copy of Ferdinand which I will be happy to read to him since it was a favorite of mine, and probably the reason I've taught most of the range bulls around here to eat carrots out of hand :lol:
