Good luck. I bought 2 watercolor paintings at an antiques flea market and they are signed Diane. The seller knew the paintings came from Wisconsin, in the 1930s, but nothing else. I have never been able to find any more information.

I'm a librarian and have had trouble with a journal vendor's software. I call customer service, get connected eventually to a person who is not in the U.S. and doesn't have a full grasp of English. I always thought my headaches were allergy related (I've had them for decades) and my treatment was Afrin, Benadryl, and sleep. Within the last year my physician said "what you are describing are migraines" and gave me sumatriptan. Sometimes I can deal with the migraines with OTC migraine ...

I have always wanted what my friend calls a "yellow horse." I just love Palominos and I know I will be jealous of the soon to be posted pictures. But I refuse to have a Palomino whose name contains Golden or Honey.

I'm currently reading "Circling the Sun" a fictionaled bio of Beryl Markham, aviatrix and thoroughbred trainer in Africa in the 20s-30s. Outstanding story and I can't wait to read more tonight. Author is Paula McLain.

Tonight is gourmet meatloaf (jarlsberg cheese, bacon), baked taties, spinach soufflé. It's my brother in law's birthday and he always asks for meatloaf (shmeatloaf double beet loaf) for his birthday dinner.
