The brownies are actually from Smitten Kitchen http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2013/02/ ... -brownies/

One hint, use the weight measurements. I've tried measuring by volume and they just are not the same.

Tabby, why is it that "do what Australia did" is the only solution? Can you even consider the thought that there may be other solutions out there that may be effective for a country that has "right to bear arms" in it's Constitution???

Even if we all decided tomorrow that we'd march down to our local LE and turn in all our guns (which wouldn't happen :) ) there would still be guns left "in the wild". And those guns, for the most part, will be the ones that will continue to do damage. Might a mass turn in keep a few from...

Carrot cake as a gift?

I usually bake salted caramel brownies from scratch for my barn owner and farrier. It can be a bit time consuming and this year, I am planning to give 5 other people a gift that I've baked. The brownies are time consuming, and baking 7 batches seems daunting on my limited time. Would carrot cake be ...

I don't think so. Gun violence is gun violence. Countries with gun control have lower incidences of gun related gang violence, domestic violence and suicides as well. The microfilaria can migrate to the eye. Microfilaria are killed off while migrating by ivermectin, that's why it's important to kill them at that stage. I'm not sure if they stayed in the eye long enough if they would be visible without instruments or not. http://www.equinews.com/article/equine-nec...

No, not strictly ivermectin, but you may need to be a bit more often with it during the summer months. The flies that carry can travel up to 5 miles, so it's transmittable (I use ivermectin every 6 weeks during fly season).
