The problem is that no one has any facts, so they're believing whatever they choose to believe. So for every argument anyone puts out there the "other side" has a different set of "facts" that support their beliefs.

If I was in a barn with someone who wanted to experiment I'd schedule the app'ts for their horse, they could schedule for mine, and then we could evaluate our own horses without knowing when, or even if they were receiving treatments--although I expect the research has already been done.

That's how I've always ridden out (give the horse the reins and learn to ride what he does). I always felt that over-controlling the horse to make it easier to stay in the saddle was a missed opportunity to develop a more secure seat.

Yeah very much the passagey trot and not in a good way. Sting is not going forward and is using this half trot half passage to reduce the work load. I don't think this has anything to do with conserving energy, because I think it actually takes a lot more energy to do this than to just trot forward...
