Re: Interior decor / art

Can you do some sort of shelf arrangement with brackets/floating, whatever works in your space? You'll still have to put something on them (could use a plant or two), but it might change things up a little. A mirror, cool clock? How about a comfy chair with a small table and a swagged light (or floo...

Re: Tell me about your colonoscopy

If you have polys, you need to get them removed. Why wait until they transform and you can pick them up with Cologard? Think of it as the cheapest way to prevent very large bills. I went through the same anxiety, but it definitely falls into the category of anticipation being worse than reality. Jus...

You are not alone! The worse part is the prep. I've been through the prep process twice, once when preparing for a hysterectomy, and once for a colonoscopy. The colonoscopy was worse, as trying to work my way through that gallon jug of grossness caused me to start vomiting before it began to take ef...

Well, it's a beautiful space and I love the wallpaper, but I thought wallpaper went out of style. Watching too many House Hunters who want to rip everything out of a house I guess. Re: Remodelistas! Laundry room/bathroom (update)

At long last! Got the faucet in, plain mirror, and tweaked the vanity light. It was a very inexpensive light (I was starting to flip about how much $$ spent in here) and since at least (and most generously) you could say it was ignorable, it was going to be ignored. Unfortunately (dressage mindset a...

This is one of my favorite butternut squash recipes. We have it with linguine and grill spicy/hot habanero pork sausage (Whole Foods) on the side. The sweetish squash/pecans compliment the hot sausage very well and the ricotta "smooths" the spiciness oh so slightly. https://www.marthastewa...

You can be very open ended/non judgmental about it when you talk to HR - just tell what is going on, it is making you uncomfortable, should it, is it appropriate, and what should you (or they) do about it. I would play it very low key. The power dynamics of work can suck at times. Be smarter. . . ;)
