Quick piece of advice, LSP, put a neck strap (or some sort of grab strap) on your horse when you do pole work. It will help free him up a bit and he won't feel the inevitable tension in your arms from "jumping" a green bean. With Tio, I used the saddle pad straps (cuz I don't loop them thr...

Take it for what you will, but I think the "problem" is that you need to carry your hands more forward, fully in front of her withers, whether you hold them higher or not. During your down transitions, imagine your reins are broom sticks and "shove" your hands forward toward her ...

He looks amazing Chisamba. Definitely more muscling on his topline in addition to muscled out hind end and shoulders. I definitely think some degree of bone remodeling occurs in addition to pronounced muscular changes.
