I am just so impressed by your strength and your dedication. The fact that you manage to get your teeth brushed each day with all you have gone through/are handling is absolutely mind boggling, let alone get to work, ride, and SHOW a horse. I am so happy for your bright spots. You deserve them!

I've never had an experience like this with my horses, but agree, they know way more about our surroundings and circumstances than we do. Recently my more sensitive horse and my donk were out of sorts for a few days...I believe it was due to a bunch of clearing across the street...a couple acres of ...

So sorry you are going thru this again! Thanks Rockabilly, maybe GH will stop by the thread? She is MUCH better. The second day was terrible. She was crying and wailing in pain. Made for interesting conference calls that day. After about 2pm that day, though, she was fine. She stopped crying and seemed nearly normal. It's now been a week and she is doing great. Now I just have to keep her ...

Hey all- I did a quick search, but no luck in jogging my memory. Yes Fergus, who will be 22 in two weeks, is being treated for EPM for the FIFTH time in our 19.5 years together. This time was the scariest time as it was the biggest presentation of a choke (he is the horse you would NEVER think would...
