I push beyond my comfort zone. Usually with friends though. We've been playing a lot in the fields near XC jumps...

The shoeing issue is interesting to me. Mikey is barefoot for now. He's never been shod and doesn't need them at this point. But I will do what he needs. He's my first with no shoes, so... watch and see.

Ha, I rode a mare last Thursday and because of advice doused her in fly spray before the 35 min trotting rehab session. Ummm, mid-trot she stopped and violently rubbed her front leg with her mouth 'cause fly. Sigh.
