Weeeeeellll I sent Scarlett off for some surgery in December. Estimate 1000-1500 (infected sinus cavity). 5 days in hospital, plus the initial visit, one after hours visit after she came home... bill was over 3300.

I'm going to guess $US600 for some face stitches and meds.

Try a hard reset. I had an old one for a while and every now and then (if allowed to go fully flat) it needed a hard reset before it would power up again.

I'm really, really sorry. I've been through similar, but not the vet part. Ended up saying goodbye to my girl. Necropsy was very very telling - the poor girl was totally broken.

Ask your vets to check C6 and C7 vertebrae for abnormalities during the necropsy.

I think hosing it was too much. Leather doesn't like getting wet without being conditioned after (just like your bridle or saddle, except in a pad, you can't get to the leather!). If you hose it, the leather will get saturated. Then the fleece will be susceptible to falling out. I too wash my fleece...
