Other horse-shopping FYIs-- I'm suspicious every time the walk is shown only on a long rein. May be worth getting some collected walk video before traveling just to make sure the walk stays pure when compressed.

They look long and (to my taste) drop low during what doesn't look like strenuous work. I bet his trot is very comfy to sit, but one of my sister's horses with similar conformation end up with dropped pasterns at a (relatively) young age (< 15yo), so I've got some sensitivity to it.

My eye looks lower at the hind end: not in love with his pasterns. But I honestly think it's worth a vet check, especially as it looks like he's got a good brain in him, which counts for so much in this sport.
