How I know I've most definitely crested the hill....

Postby kande50 » Fri Aug 18, 2017 9:02 pm

I just had the best time following my 9 year old granddaughter around in the indoor. She rode our sweet little Halflinger mare and I rode Lucky ZooZoo (for Zoolander, because he only wants to turn to the left).

So I followed her around and told her which way to turn, and we went around and around weaving in and out of the markers and making different sized circles and turns.

The granddaughter just started riding this summer and is a timid rider, but forgets that she's timid when she gets into what she's doing. So I keep her busy, and it's been way more fun for both of us than I ever thought it would be.

IOW, there are a whole bunch of seriously fun perks associated with getting old and tired. :-)
