Carl Hester Master class

Postby Shirrine » Sun Nov 06, 2016 3:19 am

We had the pleasure in Australia last night to have Carl Hester do a master class.
All I can say is wow, he IS the master. Misses nothing but keeps it simple and every horse improved from baby 5yo to GP horses.
We had a horse that didn't have big paces but such a great work ethic so he worked on improving the canter. Had a few spooky horses so worked on that, crooked horses. His choices were great and some of the classes had 2 horses with totally different problems but at a similar standard of education.
If you get the chance to go and see him I highly recommend going.
5 hours for $160 was so worth it.

He's going to be in LA in April. I'm certainly going to try to get there!

Australia annoys me somewhat, we get some awesome instructors and have some good competitions, but we don't share it very well with everyone else in Aus.
I'm a bit sad the USEF network is now subscription to watch, but if Aus did that I would definitely pay to watch events/clinics etc.
