Very sad news confirmed today. Rumors have been flying but I have not posted anything until I had confirmation. The Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado is closed. All shows for 2020 are cancelled and it is up for sale. This is a huge blow to all disciplines of equestrian sport in Colorado.

Interesting. It went up for sale in 2014 and was purchased by the guy that owns the big facility in Wellington.

I haven't been able to confirm. Many other postings have been saying this is not true "and CHJA posted on FB that they are still planning shows at the horse park, they made it sound like it was getting sold".
Good luck to everyone sorting this out. I'm not personally invested but its always sad to see a nice facility be sold to housing developments, etc

I'm told this is true, and that show managers are scrambling to find new places for their shows. It's supposed to be the host for the USDF Region 5 regional championships, too, this year, so that will have to be moved as well.

No confirmation of what is the reason or what will happen to the facility.
