Interesting, they did that in South Africa when I was there and it gave you opportunity to attend all the SANEF clinics for free to build up their potential olympic squad.

At the time South Africa was banned from international competition and were trying to stay relevant.

It worked I think, the quality of riding improved significantly.

What does elite and pre elite status entitle riders to?

I thought everyone knew Chandler, she rides with Carl Carl Hester

I do not know what the status gives them. I assume the USEF backup to prepare them?

I'm assuming Chandler is an east coast rider. I just have never heard of her. You'd think two people who are potential Olympic candidates I would have seen some results on, live streaming, or something.

Perhaps you missed where I explained she rides with Carl Hester, in other words, in Britain. If you live streamed Olympia you would have seen her

I saw that, but wasn't understanding that as living in Britain. She's riding as American?

Yes Chandler she rides for USA. Haddad did the same when she lived in Germany. Unless you are a dual citizen, you have to ride under the flag of your passport

Olivia (Weltz) is from my area originally. I *think* she rode on US team at Aachen last time, but could be wrong.
