Olivia LaGoy Weltz and Lonoir

There's a video in here if you want to see her. I have never seen her before. They seem like a pretty steady pair, but I don't see them breaking the top three with the swinging changes and the uneven behind piaffe.

There are some lovely things in that test--really elegant halfpasses IMO. But the piaffe and changes are big problems to me and I'm surprised it scored as high as it did.

I don't know that the US team this year will be particularly strong

I agree blob. Although I like their P/P better than others- just needs to be a touch quicker behind and the piaffe could sit a bit more but the transitions were pretty nice. The balancé is an issue for sure. The canter tour is also problematic with the swinging changes. And piri’s kind of punch off the shoulder a bit. But I like this pair in terms of harmony.

I really like the overall impression and her contact was lovely. I'm exciting to see how the horse goes when it's a bit straighter and stronger
