heartbreaking. She was very influential for me in many ways. Truly sad. I still have her book That Winning Feeling that I got in 1994 along with the casettes. It remains a favorite :)

Jane Savoie was the first dressage clinician I ever audited. She inspired me to change my riding emphasis to dressage.

Yes, I too was saddened to learn of the news. I also audited one of her clinics very early in my dressage 'career'. I was impressed with how well she seemed to relate to everyone's journey no matter where they were in their riding. RIP.

I honestly cried a bit. I know she had cancer but was a bit shocked at the sudden news. She was so positive and inspiring.

What an inspiring lady. I still use her "riding in Your Mind's Eye" techniques for showing and any other stressful situations. My mantra since first reading her stuff has been "you are here because you are very good at..." Focusing on the one key element that I CAN do helps me allow to do what I'm not so good at. Worked really well when I was learning to play tennis too. She will be greatly missed--so many lives she touched.
