Haf dressage suggested this in the suggestions thread for DDBB. Saying that the two go hand in hand. I rather like the idea but wanted opinions on it. Let me know your thoughts

I can see how they are related, but personally wouldn't want to wade through 'should I buy Super Bit or Spectacular Bit to get my horse to accept contact?' or "New Olympic Star brand saddle versus Last Decade Olympic Star brand saddle?" type of posts in order to read specifically training stuff.

Is there any way to make Tack and Apparel a sub-forum of Training so as to keep them somewhat organized without having two separate forums for them?

Well, it sounds like the majority are not interested, but here was my logic.

While historically the tack and apparel trunk has been separate from the Training forum, they truly are quite related. Findings boots, bits, bridles, even good breeches are all issues for those that "train" and some truly are training issues. Also, historically, there haven't been a huge number of posts in the tack and apparel forum, so combining them wouldn't clog up the training forum and the tack related posts would hopefully get many more comments if included in the training forum. Something, that they are sadly lacking now. Sometimes the tack posts only get a couple of responses, when I think the reality is just that the forum isn't checked as regularly as the training forum. Also, the tack and apparel posts are usually fun and light-hearted, so they have the potential to help contribute to positivity in training forum topics.

Anywho, those were my thoughts on it. :)
