Black Country Eventing Saddle 18" Wide Tree SOLD

Postby StraightForward » Sat May 27, 2017 3:17 pm

Will post pics of there is interest. Saddle is like new with less than 20 rides in it. I bought it last spring to start my mare, but she has already outgrown it, but the tree shape is all wrong for my new horse. Wide tree with wither gussets. It is a GP model with a jumping tendency. Very comfy, secure feeling saddle with great balance. Black leather. $1250 + shipping. Will be going on eBay this weekend as well.

Flat tree or curvy tree? Tio is very wide, low withers, flat back. Also, I normally ride in a 17", is 18" going to be too big ya think? I've been toying with the idea of doing the event derbies with Tio later this summer or, more likely, next year.

It is more of a straight tree. It's a deeper seat, so it would ride smaller than a flatter CC saddle. If you wanted to give it a try, I'll probably be heading out to Jerome in the next week or so to see Pickle and could bring it out.

That's be great sf, I would love to try it out on T. That would give me an excuse to see Pickle in real life as well. Let me know when you are going and I'll try to get away to meet you. :)

Sue, is there an afternoon next week that would be good for you? My schedule is really open for once, so I can leave work early one afternoon and get to Jerome around 3.

OK, I asked about coming out Thursday afternoon since it looks like Friday is going to be rainy. If you can't make it out while I'm there, I could either bring it by your place or see if Renee minds if I leave it for you to come by and pick up. I'll PM you my cell phone number.
Keep calm and canter on.
