Two steps forward this weekend

Yesterday I took Grace to our horse of the year in the Palomino classes. The best body colour mare doesn't ask for a trot out so I did the class, first time in over a year I have been in the ring, for a bonus she won it. A young friend led her in her conformation class. She didn't do well in that, she still looks like a baby.
Today I took Lewyn to riding club and had my first lesson since June. He was his usual opinionated self but with him I can manage that, I woud hate him to be any other way.

I took these yesterday, not me leading.

Grace is spectacular! I agree w/Kathy. She doesn't seem immature in the least to me. She's a mare that's only going to get better. Which bloodlines carry the palomino genes?
