So far we've got 3 sets of twins from Pinky, Honey and Brulee and a couple of singles from Custard and an unnamed daughter of Horatio in a lovely range of colour combinations.
Lots of spots are coming through in Bambam's lambs and BountyBar is producing some stunning fine woolled beauties, the brown moufflon ram lamb is BountyBar and Custard's stunning lamb.

Yesterday's arrival
Arapawa sheep are a rare feral breed of New Zealand sheep found on Arapawa Island in our Marlborough sounds after breeding there away from mankind for a couple of 100 years and are thought to be descended from sheep off a shipwrecked Spanish galleon... their nearest relatives by DNA analysis are Gulf Coast sheep in USA which came from Spanish sheep brought over by the conquistadors. They are hardy, parasite resistant, footrot resistant and flystrike resistant and they are lovely sheep to look at and handle. Mine behave more like goats and can be trained to come for treats. The meat is fine grained and sweet with little fat on it.
