FB Help? FIXED! 1st post.

For some reason, all of a sudden, I can't originate posts to FB. I can respond to other people's posts, but I can't start one. I've dumped cookies, emptied history, changed passwords. Every other function on my computer seems just fine, just like normal, but not that.
Any suggestions?

Somehow a software install got interrupted. Re-installed and all is good.

Try rebooting your computer if you haven't already.

Done that too. When I try to send FB a message, the message doesn't go. May have to call them.

There is no phone number for FB!!! Just heard a news report on this the other day. If you find a phone number, don't use it...a scam....and well spread. You will talk to people trying to pull something over on you. All customer support for FB is via email.

Check your privacy/security settings. Also, clear the cache/browsing history on your computer.

I have had that problem on my tablet. I can post just fine from my computer but on my tablet, no go. And I have not found a solution yet.

Kind of just futzed around...thought back to when it began to happen...had a friend dump me from a private group until I figured out it wasn't that, but about that time is when the problem started...dug around in my Systems Preferences... Because of where I live my WiFi is really slow and the download took two hours. Somehow it got interrupted last time. This time I just started it and went out to walk and do chores, checking a couple times to make sure it was progressing.
