Some images from the past few days. It has been foggy, foggy, foggy, so the hoar frost has been getting heavier and heavier. How I still have power is beyond me as the power lines are sagging under all the frost. Anyways, enjoy!

We have had quite a bit of snow, and our fog is supposed to start tonight, so I will have some hoary whiskers in the morning... At the moment, we have bright sunshine and snow, which I much prefer!

Lovely!! The snow photos always cheer me up SO much better than the DC winter gloom. We get grey skys, grey weather (rain, slush, mud, "snow" that falls white and turns into a grey slushie), and none of the pretty white stuff.

Here is E TN, we call the frost shapes on foliage from fog "hoar frost". It makes all kind of cool mini sculptures. That's most of the winter magic that we see. Yours is much more impressive (but intense).

Thanks everyone! Well, this hear frost, has been causing havoc. Power went out at work at 9 am this morning... well... not just my work, pretty much a good chunk of my province.

My power at home came back on at 1 PM, only to go out for another 45 minutes at 430 PM. It sounds like we will be on rotating power outages for the next 12-24 hours while our power crews get the major power stations up and running!

At least it's not 40 below!

Beautiful pics and thanks for sharing! I did get the chills though as our temps are dropping today. Do you have a backup generator? It sounds like it would be useful if you get power outages.

We do have some small generators for sure, thankfully, haven't had to use them yet. Knock on wood lol!

All systems seem to be up and running, and now it is snowing out and the temps are dropping too. Ah well, only 4 more months!
