I have tons of pictures on my Apple iPhone v6 which I seem unable to forward via email. I can send a photo via text message method but if I select someone's email address - not sent. The email sit in my outbox and never get sent. I've tried looking at the settings but do not see any issue there. I'm guessing because I use Verizon AOL mail that if the recipient is a different carrier - the email fails??? Anyone have a clue what I am doing wrong or how to get this to work? This dang phone cost a lot of money and this feature not working for me is frustrating.
(If I go to the Verizon store to ask questions - the clerks are Millennials and think I'm an old **** who can't use her phone.) Which is kinda true.

Email on your iphone works just the same as on a computer -- provider, platform, etc play no role in whether or not an email sends.
First, have you set up your email account on the iphone? Setting / Passwords & Accounts / Add Account
Once that's done, you should be able to email photos as follows:
- Open thd Photos app
- Choose the album containing the photos you want to send
- Tap the photo you want to send
- Tap the button in the corner that looks like a rectangle with an arrow coming out of it
- Tap the action you want to take from the bar at the bottom [email in this instance]

Re: Apple iPhone for dummy
I thought my email was already setup on this iPhone because I can read my emails. However, I'm unable to reply to an email. So does it sound like my account is still not set up?

If you can't reply to an email, then, no, your email was not set up correctly.

Thank you!!! I got it to work after I re-entered my password.
