I'm so happy to have arrived at what I am determined to have as my final rental suite before I buy or build my own place (via inheritance when it comes)
In my town, it's nearly impossible to find a freestanding rental on land that accepts large dogs (Django!) so I'm so glad to have found this beautiful place and the best landlords.
52 acres of serenity. (And bellowing cows, neighing horses and baaaa'ing sheep)

UPDATE! I finally got almost everything moved in and sorted. My cousin brought 3 of his friends and the 4 of them unloaded everything in 45 mins. The hardest part was figuring out how to arrange furniture! Let me know what you think!!

Re: Home sweet home :) with pics of my new place
What a great place!
(As someone who's currently apartment hunting, I'm also rather jealous!)
Hope the stairs to the loft are going okay with the knee.

Looks good! To give you hope, my DH rented many beautiful places on large acreages before buying cool places of our own. Some folks gots the house karma--you might be one of them!

Gorgeous!!
Those stairs are a touch daunting so don't get too drunk
Lovely place to live.

Gorgeous!!!
When I was a kid, we all spent about a month in the Shuswap. We camped for weeks on the Shuswap river at various campgrounds. It's a gorgeous part of the province. Mom and dad actually bought a horse property there with the intent to move, but we never did and they ended up renting it out for years before eventually selling.
If all of my and hubby's family didn't live here, I'd love to move out there.
Congrats on finding such a great place!

Love it. And the kitchen came with its own set of crutches! LOLA. Will you be getting a horse?

The wood floors are perfect for doing my signature "one foot shuffle". I can make it across the entire loft just shimmying my good foot back and forth while never having to touch the bad one down! It's like doing the twist!!
No, no more horses for me, I have a lifetime "ban" on riding else my knee repair will fail again. I have no desire to have it reconstructed a third time!

The shuswap is incredible. Of all the cities I have lived, this definitely ties with my favourite, Scottsdale AZ!

So glad you have a nice place! Soon you'll be out roaming the acreage with Django.

That's a lovely snuggy spot for Django. And looks lovely for you, too! Congrats.
