The demise of Rockingham Park

I was over on COTH this afternoon and saw this great article about Rockingham Park in New Hampshire.

There is a great photo blog in there of the park as it is today. Say what you want about Thoroughbred racing, it is still sad to see this park go down the tubes.

My dad brought us there with my grandfather (my mother's father) and they used to bet on who would come in last. I have some wonderful memories of that track.

We did a UMASS Drill Team performance there in the late 60's. I can't remember the occasion though.
