Boston this weekend?

Postby carpevita » Thu Oct 22, 2015 2:39 pm

A friend asked me to go to a conference w her this weekend and I agreed to find a room for us for tomorrow and Saturday nights.
To be honest I kind of dropped the ball, though I did make contact with a few airbnb and vrbo places and didn't hear back.

So now I have today to find us a room with two beds for Friday and Saturday nights.

Any ideas?

Tripadvisor is my go to for prices and location - plus reviews.

If you aren't terribly picky, on such a short notice i've always had a pretty good luck with priceline bidding.

I'm glad it worked out. Wish I could jet up there to say hi. If you pass through the Balt/DC area, please let me know. You have a place to stay at my house.

Aw, THANKS Chantal, that made my morning!
I want to visit my cousin in Md next spring or summer, and my big brother in Pittsburg while i'm out that way, plus my in laws are in Jersey, so I owe many people a visit---i'll let you know when I do!
I still think it would be a blast to plan a road trip and visit my cyber buddies all over the world.

Oh gosh we are!
I made a beeline for my favorite store in the world (aside from tack stores of course)

http://salmagundiboston.com/

and showed admirable restraint in my purchases.
I HIGHLY recommend this shop!

I know wick, me too. Wasn't an option with the time frame we had, and I hope to visit again in a more relaxed way this winter--in which case I will be letting you know well in advance!
