Great sheet/blanket sale

Postby Hayburner » Fri Nov 25, 2016 6:16 pm

Net equestrian.com is having a great sale on blankets. Rambo, amigo, weatherbetta and a few other brands. I was soooo tempted to buy but I have one in each weight for both my horses, so I stopped myself.

That may be sort of a dodge-y website. I've heard people complain about placing orders, having their CC charged and never receiving anything, with them constantly saying it's "on backorder". Hope I'm wrong.

I too read some shaky reviews on TOB, but last month I gave them a try. I bought a great cooler, that other retailers had for $59.99, I paid $24.99 and a couple of other on sale items.

I got everything without a problem. The one item that was back ordered, came still rather quickly, and directly from the mfg. they kept me well informed of when my items were coming.

Due to my one experience, I would buy from them and refer others to them.

I will agree that I got one billing, even though the items were sent in multiple shipments, but, it wasn't a problem

Luckily they don't have any Rambos in Pickle's size, and Obie already has 2 mediums and a Thinsulate.

Great deals if you have a small or giant horse though. :)
Keep calm and canter on.

I managed to snag a 78 and an 81 in discontinued colors. They were few and far between though.

I did NOT need any more blankets, but wound up ordering yet another Rambo for Rudy and shipping boots for Tio. Curse you Hayburner! Lol

(I plan on leaving the Rambo untouched until the one I bought him LAST year wears out--that's how I justified my purchase anyways.)

I got an email from them 2 days after my order saying one of the blankets (I ordered 2) was out of stock, apologized for inventory mistake, did I want a different one or did I want to cancel the order. I checked the website again and the blanket was still showing as available in the size I ordered, which she said was a mistake and she would fix it.

There wasn't another blanket I wanted so said I would just take the other one I ordered. My order was now below the free shipping price, but they agreed to still ship for free.

I don't have my blanket yet, hopefully soon!

Are blankets susceptible to dry-rot like tires if not used for extended period of time? Because i have some Rambos that are 10 years old and still very much going strong, with no sign of wearing out anywhere
