I just ordered 2 pairs of Ariat tall boots from SmartPak. (Well 3 pair actually because I will return what doesn't fit.) They have an awesome deal with free return shipping. I am a huge Ariat fan and their paddock and tall boots fit me best. My Maestro lasted almost 10 years and I could still wear if I repair a broke zipper. However, I could not resist when I can get a good quality tall boot under $250.
(The winter Dover boot sale - I had tried the Petrie boots but had to return as didn't fit.) There are still some good sales out there if anyone is interested.

You are a total enabler. But I didn't find anything for my weird needs.

Re: Boot sale at SMARTPAK site
So far the best boot I've bought this winter is the pull on ariat terrain H20. They look kind of like cowboy boots, quick to put on, waterproof, good traction and warm enough to me to shovel the driveway in our Maine winter! Like them so much, ordered a men's pair for my husband (he thinks they are great)
