waxing the bottom of kitty litter boxes before filling with kitty litter-- THANK YOU!!! it's something i would never have thought of doing,
and it makes scooping so much easier!

Car wax would probably work, too, and might be sitting in your basement already.

Don't your kitties "spin their wheels" when covering up their stuff? :)

I won't use clay. I am fairly new to cats but I find wet, slimy sticky clay litter just yuck.

I use either clumping pine, walnut or corn and it doesn't stick to the box...no wax needed.

I have seen about waxing before and I am glad it is working well for you. I'm too lazy :P .

I've never heard of using wax. I use clumping clay litter and it's never been problem re: stickage. I scoop every day or every other day.

I use pellets that are kind of similar to the horse bedding. They work great, no odor, and my kittens like them....and they are cheap! I've tried the clumping kind, and I hate it.
