and a pat on the back for me. Megan (working student) jumps Miss A. on Fridays. Saturday, Jackie (another boarder) said to me "I saw Megan tacking up the prettiest mare and when she said it was Ariel, I couldn't believe how good she looks. You've done a great job since you've taken her over." Aw shucks, thank you, I said. And that was my goal with Miss A. To let her know I am her person.
Looked in the mirrors as I rode past in my lesson. I said out loud "damn, my leg position is good." And it is. I didn't break my arm patting myself on the back, but it's nice to see proof of hard work.
Compliment for Miss A.

Congratulations to Ariel and you, PaulaO! Those are the moments we live for, and it's nice to hear you are making a positive impact on a horse's life!

Good job, Paula. When horses reflect back the love and care that they are receiving others notice it. She's lucky to have you,

Good work. Those sort of compliments give a real shine to the day don't they?
