Chancellor had her major surgery recently, and I just wanted to extend jingles to her, that her margins were clear, no visible tumors, Magnesium levels healthy, and that the pain is little and drainage systems all work

Awww, thanks everyone.
So far, the double mastectomy has been the easiest part of the journey I never wanted to take. I'm in no pain and while the drains are a nuisance, they are really not that big of a deal. Hoping to hear the pathology results today or tomorrow. The surgeon did say that he had trouble finding any residual tumor....so hopefully, the chemotherapy we did prior to surgery was sufficient (I only completed 4 of the 6 treatments because I got so sick from it).

Good update. WARNING the drains are "no big deal" until they go to take them out. Ask for a local. The docs just rip them out: This-is-gonna-sting-a-little bit-my-ass!

Actually he removed one yesterday and it wasn't painful at all. I have a high pain tolerance.

Oh man! NO not 6 weeks. The first one was in 2 days and I am hoping these last two come out today (in 5 days). THAT's a big difference.
