Ariel is Miss Popularity

Even though she is no longer a school horse, I let select people ride her. Erin, one of the instructors, is taking her on a 3 hour trail ride Sunday. Ariel loves trails. My trainer's working student Megan jumps Miss A. on Friday nights. Ariel has improved so much (getting her lead changes, etc., all that hunter stuff) that Megan wants to show her in a hunter derby next month. And Ariel will tote a kid around a schooling show doing W/T/C.
I was out of the country for 2 weeks and last night I saw Miss A. for the first time since I got back. She is looking so good. She is filling out and her hind end is muscling up. Of course she had a ding on her face (she always has a ding on her face) and her feet are 2 weeks overdue (getting done this weekend and she MAY get front shoes).
I was so pleased to see my girl. She now nickers when she sees me. It could be because I'm always packing cookies. In fact, a cookie ended up down the leg of my breeches last night....
