As you know, I am a big pit bull advocate. These dogs really do love their human parents.

What a good dog. I'm a fan of the TV show 'Pit Bulls & Parolees'.

I love the bullies, they really want to please their owners. While I have never owned a bully, I have fostered quite a few over the years. They are my favorite breed.

This morning DH and I watched the clown-like antics of some potential adoption dogs on P&P episode we DVR'ed last night. I laughed out loud and told DH (who really wants to adopt from a beagle rescue for our next addition, whenever that time comes...he loves loves loves beagles) "that right there is why I feel like I will always have at least one pit bull in the mix at our house". They are just joyful. No matter how bad their history, I have yet to meet one that hasn't shown that spirit when give the right humans.
