I *was* shopping for winter blankets...

Postby StraightForward » Sun Aug 20, 2017 3:58 pm

And ran across these: http://www.countryandstable.com/caldene ... don-boots/

Clearly I need a set in navy for Annabelle, and a set in brown for Pickle. With matching bell boots. Restraining myself for now, but they're on my Pinterest board.

Ahem, anyway. There are still lots of good deals out there on winter blankets; stock up now before prices go up in a month or two.

I just bought these for the girls: http://www.countryandstable.com/weather ... ch-a-neck/

I do understand. I just received a Horse Health catalog from the UK which is filled with beautiful Lemieux products. Hard to resist those colors!! I don't usually use polo wraps but this catalog makes me want to....

Annabelle and Pickle must have them.

After using Lemieux pads I won't use anything else. They are by far the best ones on the market.

Enabler! I am very proud that I only purchased each of them the blanket I linked to, and nothing else. They have rabbit-print fleece coolers and matching shipping boots, for God's sake!

Oh yeah. I got two of those for my jumping saddle (18" long flap) because my old GP pads were too small. Love them, but I just bought a bunch of Dover dressage pads when they were like $12 each at Christmas, so I can't justify the LeMieux dressage pads. I am going to try putting the D-ring straps on those pads though, to make them a little more LeMieux-like.

And because my horse has a head like a Samsonite suitcase and won't fit these, please buy this for your horse in red: http://www.countryandstable.com/john-wh ... er-bridle/

Thanks for the shopping tip. I ended up with a Lemieux half pad (have not tried those before) and a pair of Le Chameau clogs (I love my Le C rubber boots). I was restrained and did not buy saddle pads....this time.

I've never ordered from Country and Stable before, but so far, so good. I ordered the blanket in a 78 and an 81 and they quickly and apologetically notified me that the 78 was out of stock but they could send two 81's. I told them I only wanted one 81 in that case. I think that was on Monday, and the FedEx delivery attempt sticker was on my door on Thursday, and they are based in UK.

I hope you are pleased with your Lemieux pad, Piedmont!
