Barn ghost?

Postby PaulaO » Fri Mar 23, 2018 3:47 pm

Last night there was loud boom, like someone drove a truck into the side of the arena, and the roof shook. One horse spooked, but Miss A. just gave a side eye. We thought snow had slid off the roof, but nope. Perhaps it was a ghost? Nobody has any explanation but those of us in the arena all agreed it was mighty strange.

My last barn was definitely haunted, but it was much older.

If metal sided, it could have been a metal panel changing shape from expansion or contraction due to the weather. My little metal barn does this when it warms up from being cold overnight.

Here in Oklahoma a loud boom followed by things shaking can be a stupid earthquake.
