Night turn out has started
The school horses go out during the day, come in for grain, and go back out around 8. Since Miss A. is a former schoolie, and the barn manager recognizes that Ariel is special needs, she gets to go back out at night. She’s out with Madonna and Malibu. It makes her happy and makes me happy. I really appreciate the barn manager doing this. Such a good place.

Here's to thoughtful barn management! Emi loves her night turn out time of year. However, she also hates being cold, so we usually wait until May even in the south. Her friend Midge (M and Em) has Ariel's situation---she is a very young 19 this year.

And of course there were thunderstorms this morning. I'm sure Miss A. was fine. Undoubtedly she rolled.....

I'm sure Arial will still look lovely post storm.
Emi will probably look like this (I promise, she was clean when I said goodbye to her Wednesday night!).
