You know that good news? Well it isn't happening

Postby Shirrine » Wed May 16, 2018 10:03 am

Just been to see my plastic surgeon and I will be back in hospital in a week and a half for a hernia repair caused from the reconstrution.
So no CDI for me and no 2 level start. Such a shame because Lewyn is going so well. He ill have to be turned out for a time and get hairy. Seems I will be out of the saddle for about 4 weeks. Good thing pony stays sane for me.

Nooooo! We were so looking forward to your next show report.

Seriously, hang in, and heal well. Yes, you have a most excellent pony awaiting your return.

What a bummer, so sorry you have yet another procedure to get through instead of being able to play with your pony. (((HUGS)) and lots of jingles.

How disappointing but I guess we deal with it? What else can we do? At least your ponies are at your house and you can look out and enjoy them that way--hair and all. I left Kyra au naturale last winter and she finally is looking like a horse vs a yak.

I will be going for surgery #5 in 6 years in July (lumbar microdiscectomy). It isn't how I planned to spend my summer but unless I can get the sciatica gone, horse activities are not very enjoyable but I still do them...you bet. On the positive side, the butt is better and I have been able to ride some at the walk which beats not riding at all.

Healing jingles flying to Oz.

I am now looking at my 11th in 3 years. :( I am getting tired of it all.

I am home with minimal pain thank goodness. I had the hernia fixed, will make riding so much more comfortable. I also had a couple of cists removed and a bit of lipo to remove some fatty tissue.
Hopefully that is the end of the renovations and life can go back to normal.

Glad to hear you are back home Shirrine. Jingles that this is the final surgery and that you heal up quickly!
