Does anyone know if there is some sort of privacy setting to block this on cell phones? We're advertising some items on Craigs List and I'd prefer to limit information to phone # and first name. Or is this a carrier issue?

You can always just use the anonymous email service on craigslist. That's what I do, I don't want my number ending up on "lists."

Thanks for that info, I had noticed that people responded sometimes with a "Dear X", X being the email "name". The responders ID is completely hidden - will definitely block that. Of course we have control over the phone #, in the future I need to ask the responder to lay a few more cards on the table before being too open about information.
