Sacramento/Placerville CA Photo Workshop Suggestions

OK, my good friend and I have managed to successfully break into the world of photography workshops. We held our first in September and it turned out great. Our students learned a ton and so did we....like we should do 4 days instead of 3, etc. So we're all gung-ho to do another. We were in the Bay Area in September and she would like to do something between Sacramento and Placerville, or even have a session as far as South Lake Tahoe. So I'm looking for suggestions.

If you know a farm or park that would be perfect for beautiful equestrian photos, let me know. We are also looking for models for portraits, undersaddle, at liberty, and scenic shots. We are hoping to get it together to hold the middle of May (I know, should have started last May!). I have a couple places in mind that I will contact shortly, but since I'm not from that area (my co-host is) I would love some local input. I would love to get a dressage rider or side-saddle shoot going this time.

And yes we're learning our lesson to plan farther out. We're already planning the one after this one!
