The best grooming tote I've found

Postby StraightForward » Thu Aug 16, 2018 8:11 pm

I just bought a second one of these so Annabelle and Tesla's stuff can stay separate. The outer pockets are big enough for brushes and spray bottles, which leaves the main compartment free for storing splint/bell boots. There are some flat pockets on the inside that are good for scissors and hoof picks. It also has a couple loops at the upper edge so a shoulder strap can be added if you want. It's nice and deep so stuff doesn't fall out. It's also only $20 unlike the horse-specific grooming totes that are like $40+

they also have the kind that fit around the rim of a bucket. Those are great if you are part of a pit crew as the bucket can become a seat

I like the idea of those, but the pockets are too small on the ones I've seen. Home Depot does have a handy-looking caddy that fits right into the top of the bucket to hold small items and make it nicer to sit on. It looked like it would be handy for braiding paraphernalia or that type of thing.
Keep calm and canter on.
