First “Trail Ride”

Postby PhoenixRising » Wed Sep 19, 2018 12:04 am

This weekend after getting home from WEG I had the ability to spend some time with Phoenix. Perfect end to a great, although hectic vacation. It’s been about 6 weeks of not being able to ride because of school, and she was great. After a bit of lunging and riding in the indoor, we braved a walk around the pond with an older horse buddy. She was amazing, and the next day I took her out for the same walk alone. So, so proud of her!

She looks so nice! Good for you. Did you ever get that saddle problem resolved?

I haven't. Thankfully they haven't sold the saddle that fits her yet (pictured). However, I'm really liking the Equipe saddles they're just really pricey. I'm hoping to be able to put it off long enough to get one of those.
