I am due for my annual eye exam, and apparently it needs to happen soon. I could not see Ariel in the pasture today. I spent a good 10 minutes at the gate looking for a chestnut mare in a green sheet. Nope, she wasn’t there. I got a fellow boarder to look, and Lisa said “there she is, way against the fence line.” I still couldn’t see her. I finally saw a small blob in the distance. Her chestnut color blended with the fence, and her green sheet blended with the trees. That’s what I’m telling myself....
