Cowboy dressage!
Re: Doritos commerical
I was just doing a marketing survey and they asked me to evaluate that. I loved it, even though I'm not buying Doritos.

I have absolutely no idea who Lil Was is and I still loved it.

That Wikipedia link took me down a very interesting rabbit hole, and I learned quite a bit about Lil Nas X and Old Town Road and "country rap," none of which I knew anything about before!
It was a fun commercial, I liked it.
Also, I know now why Billy Ray Cyrus was in the last moment of the commercial!

I loved the commercial too. But when my husband messaged me about the commercial, I had absolutely NO idea what product it was advertising. So, for me, not an effective commercial.

They show a closeup and hold of a bag of Doritos 8 seconds in?

On the other hand, look at the title of this thread! And people talk about "the Doritos commercial". You don't need a lot of product "coverage" in your ad when people talk about the ad. Isn't that the point?
Was this a super bowl ad? The only other one I've seen is the Bill Murray ad, extremely effective in the same way for a multitude of reasons, although the jeep gets some coverage.

Re: Doritos commerical
Super Bowl commercials are all about getting people talking about the product. Not necessarily showing it.
